Attractions that wait Just for you!

Our household  is situated in a very clean area. Moreover,  the forest,  that is only few minutes on foot from the household, is full of blueberries in spring and mushrooms in autumn. The evidence of the cleanness of the nearby forests is the fact that there is a large amount of rare species of plants that grow only in friendly conditions.

- A nature reserve ‘Azalia Pontyjska Różanecznik żółty’ (‘Azalea Pontica, Rhododendron flavum’) 5 km:
This is the only place in Poland that you find see that marvelous plant! It is the smallest reserve in our country, it spreads only to 10 ares. Azalea bush grows here on the, 35 meters wide and 5 meters long,  sand dune. The bush reaches from 1,5 up to 2,5 meters high. It has large, yellow flowers of 3-7 centimeters diameter.  Apart from that you can find here also other rare species of plants and animals. See photo


- A nature reserve „Suchy Ług”-8 km

T nature reserve „Suchy Ług” has been established in 1990 with regard for the peat bog in the middle of a forest, which total area is 9,97 hectare. This is a high peat bog located in the small depression in the middle of the forest. It is surrounded by the sand dunes covered with a forest. Characteristic plants for that area are: Bombax, Carex, Ledum palustre, Oxycoccus palustri, Drosera and many other kinds of moss and peat moss.

Near the reserve there is a deserted forester's lodge. It is situated in a forest clearing, one can also drink water from the crystal stream that flows nearby.  This is the best place for camping. About 1,5 km from the forester’s lodge, there are old ponds which belong to the Kudłacz reserve.  On the banks of the ponds there are many tree trunks gnawed by beavers. Those animals has been brought into this region from Suwalszczyzna in 1991. They accommodated well in this area and are part of the reserve and Tarlaka valley ever since.  If you will follow the forest trail you will come to a memorial boulder and a chapel. The boulder has bees set by Alfred and Jerzy Potoccy in the memory of Adam Zamoyski  who is said to die in a tragic accident during hunting. The wooden chapel, located on the mound, had been built in 1923 and  redecorated in 1991. It is a monument in the memory of -‘Dear Dziulia, nee Steckich Adamowej Potockiej’ ,See photo


A nature reserve „Las Klasztorny” – 22 km
First mentions of the attempts to to include the remains of the Sandomierska Forest in reserve protection are dated back to the 1923 year, when PhD Marian Nowiński researched the natural value of the so called ‘Las Klasztorny’.  The aim is to preserve ‘ a piece of a forest with a rich and interesting flora  that characterizes natural relations of the former Sandomierski Forest.’  The tree stand of the reservoir is mainly made up of 200 and over years old ancient forest, with pines, beeches and firs, many of which reach considerable sizes. That qualifies them to be preserved as natural monuments.

- A monument of the massacre during The Second Word War
Not far from the village there is a monument of people murdered by the soviet army. It commemorates a heroic death of 5 men who opposed to go to work in an important Catholic holiday, Corpus Christi.


- Hounting Palace–18 km

-The Łańcut Castle –38km
Against others Polish magnate residences, the Castle In Łańcut is outstanding. Despite the losses, it’s  rich collections and well preserved gardens and farm buildings distinguish the Castle form others.  The castle, in it’s present shape, has been rebuilt in the first half of the 17th century, when it had been bought by Lubomirscy family. That is why it is often called Lubomirscy Castle in Zamość. From that time it has been constantly refurbished, underwent some well done rebuilding.  See photo

-Heritage Park In Kolbuszowa –40km
Heritage Park, nicely located In the suburbs of Kolbuszowa, welcomes tourists to admire the collection. The exhibits come from area of the former Sandomirski Forest, more specifically form the bifurcation of San and Vistula Rivers and river basin of Wisłok. That area had been previously inhabited by people of 2 ethnographic groups: Lasowiacy and Rzeszowiacy. On the area of over 25 hectare, partly overgrown with forest, there are more then 40 large objects of village architecture and many smaller ones.  Apart from houses surrounded by gardens, the heritage park offers you to see a variety of agricultural implements. One of the most interesting sights are: complex of windmills, water mill, a village school and an inn. What is more the exhibition is constantly broadened by new objects connected with folk tradition what raises the cultural value of the region. See photo

-The Marian Sanctuary In Leżajsk and famous  organs from Leżajsk – 22km
Organs from Leżajsk are the most famous and precious monument  in Europe in regard of both ecclesiastical building and ornamentation. They are dated back to the second half of the 17th century. Its first designer (before 1680) was Stanisław Studziński z Przeworska. Jan Glowiński was responsible for further improvements.  The contruction was finished in 1693. Between 1902 nad 1905 Aleksander Żebrowski rebuilt it again in a Romantic style and between 1965 and 1968 Robert Polcyn from Poznań worked on the bringing back the Baroque tone of the organs. The impressive and rich woodcarving decoration had been made by no one else but monks from the sanctuary. Owning to them the organs have not only an outstanding musical value but also a marvelous architecture. The organs, however, are not only one instrument. These are 3 separate instruments. Smaller instruments had been installed in aisles, and the biggest one is in the nave. They have a mechanical structure and all together 75 tones. They are additionally equipped in cuckoo, drum(tympan) and birds. The also have a full tone (32’)what means that the biggest pipe is 10 meters long. See photo
